Drug Abuse and HIV Data Archive
Drawing on an innovative set of methodologies, processes, and practices, a team of scientists and data archivists at the Inter-university Consortium for Political and Social Research (ICPSR) at the University of Michigan will join together to grow the National Addiction and HIV Data Archive Program (NAHDAP). Our first objective is to maintain the existing infrastructure of NAHDAP and grow the archive in new, innovative directions. Our second goal is to add datasets to the NAHDAP data archive that can be used to explain the role of drug use and related behaviors in HIV/AIDS epidemiology, natural history/pathogenesis, service delivery, treatment and prevention. ICPSR, the largest social science data archive in the world, is well positioned to meet these goals.
