This multi-institutional spoke will develop ontology-driven standardization, provenance metadata, and workflow standards for the growing area of research in data-intense neuroimaging (e.g., MRI, PET, EEG, MEG, and NIRS), which typically includes additional clinical (e.g., cognitive assessment), demographic, genetic, and phenotypic data. There is little consensus within and across relevant scientific disciplines about the optimal data representation, data acquisition and reconstruction protocols, data analysis workflows and result reproducibility strategies, which makes it difficult to build a sustainable, functional, robust and innovative framework for advanced neuroscientific research

Funding Period: 09/01/2016 to 08/31/2019
