Evaluating the Data Sharing Capacity of the PCORI Research Community: Creating a Pilot Data Repository at ICPSR

a PSC Research Project

Investigator:   Amy M. Pienta

ICPSR proposes to provide support to PCORI researchers for sharing their data and ensuring that researchers get proper credit for making their data available. ICPSR will accomplish this task by providing technical assistance to PCORI researchers collecting data to make the goal of sharing their data more attainable. This includes addressing legal barriers to sharing data. We also propose to build a culture of data sharing by ensuring researcher credit and tracking how data are used so that we can assess the impact of the data housed in the repository.

Funding Period: 06/12/2017 to 02/28/2018
