An interdisciplinary team of researchers from the Institute for Healthcare Policy and Innovation (IHPI) has partnered with MDHHS to conduct the evaluation of Michigan's Medicaid expansion, known as the Healthy Michigan Plan (HMP). Per the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services Special Terms and Conditions, IHPI has been carrying out evaluation activities within six domains. While most domains for the first phase of the evaluation have completed their work, the Domain IV team will continue to develop and finalize the 2018 Healthy Michigan Voices survey reports. Additionally, members of the evaluation team will work on finalizing the design for the second phase of the evaluation for the next five year period (2019-2023).
